That looks stunning mate and like Prem I'm going to keep this in mind when my granite made says it'll have to have a joint.
Has the hob changed colour?

The client wanted a contrast on the island and the rest of the kitchen/utility room is German, whereas the Island is British. The customer would have preferred the German door with a J handle, but as I have said in an older thread, my German supplier doesn't do a J handled door. The doors, plinths and panels on the island were actually sourced from Italy ( Don't ask, as they have been a nightmare to get hold of). I certainly wouldn't want to deal with the Italians on a regular basis. I tip my hat to you Daniel, but I suppose speaking the language helps. Perhaps that's one of the reasons why I prefer dealing with the Germans, as you know, Designer Paddy speaks the language fluently! Its all worked out in the end but the logistics of this job have been a real headache Still, I am pleased with the finished result, and so is the client, who happened to be wearing a Pink dress today Snezza. Yes mate, shortly after the customers moved in they rang to say they had expected the hob to be Black!!!!!!..... All the copies of their paperwork stated the Grey colour, the correct part number etc, etc but at the end of the day, I want happy customers so I swopped it over to the same hob but in Black. I will sell the Grey one to someone else, as it has been popular since we have had one on display in the showroom, plus the fact that Siemens would implement a 20% restocking charge if I wanted to send it back to them Snezza.

Great customer service The way I look at it mate, I have to be looking at the big picture! As I mentioned to you a while back, I am hoping to get to quote for a few more projects for this builder and a couple of them are huge......!!!!!!! The cost of one hob is minor in the big scheme of things, and keeping the customers and builder happy are all part of that. Snezza.
