Island looks great! Think i'm gonna call it the Micky Mouse Island seeing as it has black ears

I'm surprised they fully cut out the hob before install as it does look delicate in that area, even if it was strapped up. But fully appreciate anything to make it lighter was a welcome bonus!! Squeeky bum time trying to get that piece from vertical to horizontal.

Seriously though, we've been calling it the "Nintendo Island" coz it looks a bit like the shape of a Nintendo controller.......apparently ????

I finally got back to this job today and took some photos of the finished kitchen.

The island now has the correct colour doors and plinths and more of Prems  favourite plinth lights Sorry about the quality of the pictures but it was a bright and sunny day and the colours look far better in reality than they do in the photographs.

Anyway, here's the finished job !!!
