Very nice indeed Tim. I think that's a great layout and looks like it works well with the open plan living. Like the short upstands and think the fabricated worktop looks fantastic going into the window.

Did you consider a ceiling extractor on this one?

Do you mind me asking where the doors and cabs came from?

Whenever possible, I do try and run the worktop into the window as it gives a good depth of worktop area behind the sink. I did offer the client the option of having Coved upstands all moulded to the worktop, but she felt she wanted it the way you see in the pictures with the separate upstand. They are only 50mm high, but I thinik it gives a nice clean, minimalistic look.

I originally designed this kitchen with Siiemens appliances, including a Siemens Downdraft hood, but she managed to get a good deal on all the Neff appliances that she bought herself. She liked the idea of the Ceiling hood and it was a bit more affordable than the Downdraft, even the Neff option.
