Kitchen fitters required

Hi there, I need kitchen fitters for sitework in the Bed's, Buck's, Northant's and Oxfordshire areas. We are a friendly company and have been supplying and installing kitchens for the past 27 years, to bloody long really. We also install kitchens for another couple of manufacturers, our rates are very good and the right person can earn what ever they want really. Payment is weekly.

What are your rates for the interest of our forum members? 

You say it's site work so presumably 110v kit is required? Are fitters required to have unwritten vans or are sign written vans acceptable?

Hi Stretch/Steve,
We do not have rates as such just a price for the kitchen but in general a decent fitter earns around £1300 to £1500 per week and I have one fitter who always earns £1800 pw on the flip side I have some slower fitters who earn around £800 pw.
Yes the tools must be either 110v or battery and all mains 110v kit must be pat tested, bloody HSE.
We are quite a happy bunch and all work together for the same end result, MONEY.
Two chaps have worked for me for the past 17 years so we can't be all bad. 
As far as vans go I do not care if it is sign written or not as it has no impact on our business in any way.

Hi Clint, theres some really good money in it especially seeing as all your fitters have to do is turn up and do the work.  No quoting, no talking to customers etc.

  I dont work on site and haven got and 110v tools but who knows what the future brings.

Is it a kitchen a day to earn the £1300 to £1500?   Do they normally have laminate worktops.  Assuming dry fit only?

  Be interesting to see the plans of an average kitchen if its easy for you to get them up here?
