I cant remember for certain, who I got the Blum parts from.....I think it may have been LDL...??

You have to join the panels in the way I described.....If you cut at 45 without the pre edging , the edge would be so sharp and very, very fragile. Edging both pieces before mitering,  gives you the ability to radius the joint & soften the corner as if it were just 1 piece.
