Hi All

I am Dean and I run a kitchen fitting company in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

I came across your forum whilst doing a Google search.

I am happy to contribute to the forum but I would also like to advertise my business. How do I go about that without getting kicked off !!

Yep, you shoulda waited a bit longer for your answer.....

There's three ways to advertise here:

You can have a big logo in the forum header for £100 a year

You can have a smaller logo in the box on the right hand side for £30 a year

You can request to be included in the Fitters Directory which has a link at the top of the page which is free. Unfortunately, the same as putting links in your posts, you will need to have been a forum member for a little while and have a good few posts under your belt to qualify for any form of free advertising.

I've removed the link but happy to discuss any route you wish to take!

Not all dreadful, some are worthy

The Australian Poetry Competition had come down to two finalists; a university graduate and an old aboriginal. They were given a word, then allowed two minutes to study the word and come up with a poem that contained the word. The word they were given was 'TIMBUKTU' 

First to recite his poem was the university graduate. He stepped to the microphone and said: 

"Slowly across the desert sand,
Trekked a lonely caravan
Men on camels two by two
Destination - Timbuktu." 

The crowd went crazy! No way could the old aboriginal top that, they thought. 

The old aboriginal calmly made his way to the microphone and recited: 
"Me and Tim a huntin' went,
Met three whores in a pop up tent,
They were three, and we was two
So I bucked one, and tim buktu

I think I like the sound of the fitters directory listing for free so it looks like I need to get involved in some discussions on here.

My jokes are terrible too, as I am told all the time by my kids.

I’ve been away a few weeks and I see Prem has a new tactic to get replies to his jokes. Absolutely genius...but it still doesn’t count son.
