Just a quick introduction - I have been involved in the kitchen and bedroom manufacturing industry for nearly 35 years now. Designing, selling, manufacture and installation.

I have made it a point always to work with UK manufacturing even in the early days when "the Germans" ruled and the UK were a very poor second.

Over the years I have sold to all types of Clints from large national builders to home owners.

It's been a while since I was on the tools but can still turn my hand to most things. Spend most of my time now with customers and suppliers.

Still enjoy the business after all these years.

Which UK brands do you tend to work with most?

We make our own carcasses but use TKC, Multiwood, Burbage, Marpatt and Uform for kitchen doors alongside our own range of 2mm PVC edged and acrylic faced doors - I doubt if many of these doors are made in the UK.

We also manufacture our own range of sliding robe doors - these are made from Clints manufactured in the UK.

Appliances are Neff and Teka both german and on the whole sinks and taps from Franke.

Over the years I have tended to stick to suppliers who deliver quality at the right price and on time. I have been let down so many times by UK suppliers which is a shame as I would love to support UK manufacturing.

I have also found that companies such as Neff and Blum spend a fortune on marketing so Clints are aware of their products making my life a lot easier when it comes to selling these products.
