Newbie Greetings!

Hi All!

Newbie here, completely and utterly bored and frustrated with my day job and looking at kitchen fitting as a new career! A very capable DIY-er (if I may be so bold!) with 3 kitchens 'under my belt' and lots more carpentry/joinery besides.

Looking forward to learning a bit more from those in the trade and especially reading about others in my position who want to break or have already broken into the profession.

I'll also be posting some photos of some of my work so far which I'd be very grateful for some constructive feedback on, just in case I'm deluding myself...

Not many at the moment, just general carpentry tools, i.e. router, compound mitre saw, circular saw, jigsaw, etc. Having said that, only the Bosch router is half-decent - the chop saw and circular saw are fairly cheap and nasty and only bought to get through a certain amount of work at home. Unfortunately I do regret not having bought decent tools a there's such a lot of fettling and finicking to get the saws to cut straight and true... :(
