[Stretch]

Here are some "before" pics from a kitchen I started today.

This has got to be my most adventurous project to date. It's a 16th century thatched cottage with not a 90 deg corner nor a flat or level wall in sight. Fortunately they wont be having wall units but they are having wooden worktops so an awful lot of scribing to do!!

OOOooh!!.. Don't envy you that one Stretch..I did one years ago .. with wall units. I had to scre4x4 tinbers at top of wall unit height to hang em plumb .. all over size w/tops and scribe em in ..Have fun :twisted:

Well here it is, apart from a few snags to be done, but essentially it's done:

They are having a window specially made to go where the board is:





The sink in this one is a pile of pants IMHO. They wanted a ceramic undermount but couldn't find one with a large waste to take the waste disposal. Made do with a composite instead but it stains too easily. And it cost nearly £500!





Yes these are granite inserts either side of the range! Drawer fascia on back order...........





Took about 4 weeks all told. The design changed pretty much every day due to the nature of the building but I am pleased with the overall result - as is the customer!

Very nice stretch good job well done,bet all that scribing got to you agree with you about the sink but the worktops are spot on.

Ha! I needed an aspirin for every time I hit my head on those ****ing low beams! The kitchen was about 2 inches shorter than me at its highest point although I am 6'4" so probably ok for a "normal" person

Lovely job Stretch. Although in my personal opinion, cottages like that should be used for hardcore in the driveway to a new build.
