Showroom Display.

Just got this latest Display kitchen finished in the showroom.

Kitchen is by Ellis Furniture of Huddersfield. Doors are Opal Gloss and the 2 colours are Stone and Maize. Worktop is Quarella Negro Luciente with matching floor tiles.
Sink, Tap and Hood are by Blanco. Oven, Hob, and D/W are all Siemens.

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

PS. The panel on the wall behind the Hob is'nt glass.
It's a 4mm Hi-Gloss acrylic panel that can be used as full height splashbacks as it can be cut on site and stuck up by the fitter, using normal fitters tools. I'm really impressed with the stuff!!!! It comes in full size panels of 2400mm X 1220mm, and also smaller sizes so there is far less waste.

Got to say I'm not a fan of the draw behind the draw thing. I'd prefer a 3 draw pack. I know it's the fashion but I go in my cutlery draw loads when cooking and having to open a draw to open a draw would do my head in.

Doesn't take away a great looking display though mate

12 kitchens in total, 3 British and 9 German.
I wanted to maintain a certain quality level for all the displays so I searched around to find a British supplier that was of a comparable quality to the German manufacturer. Plus, my German supplier does not do a door like the Handless "J" handled door..........????? Hence the reason I went with this one as it is very popular at the moment.

I know what you mean PJ, but there is a reason for that particular unit. Originally, it was going to be one of those 2 drawer Integrated Fridges. I had already planned the layout and the design when the appliance manufacturer I was going to use, pulled the plug on selling their product in the UK (Scholtes). The kitchen company had already ordered the doors in for the display, so the only option was to fit this type of Drawer Pack.

I KNOW......!!!!!

We have been telling them for ages just how popular this style of door is within the UK. The style that they have is this one :-

Perhaps they feel that by supplying a J handle door, it would undermine sales of one of their flagship door/styles.

Certainly mate! the product is called Lustrolite.

It's available in 7 or 8 colours I think, 4mm thick Acrylic with a peel off protective cover on front and back. It can be cut with normal tools and is stuck with the manufacturers double sided tape and low modulous silicone.

I've got some to fit tommorrow on a kitchen I did last year. The customer has chosen the Red colour. A brave choice, but I think it's going to look stunning. I was going to fit it a few weeks back but Abacus said it was not advisable to cut it up and fit it in low temperatures such as we had a few weeks ago.
