Great idea .. would like to see him get one in a transit connect lol.. or any other van for that .
we would all like one i think , but too large for practical daily use .

An old flat plywood door on top of a couple of tressels does me!

Its stored high just under the roof of the van, light weight, sturdy and gives me a 78" x 33" working area. Great for the mitre saw, plunge saw etc, and even does for a temporary work surface for the customer when the worktops are all gone at the end of the day.

i got one of these, needless to say i do not take it to site, although it is technically portable it weighs a ton, when i got it 20 years ago it said on the packaging in German " do not throw"!

just looked again, i did it "large" just saying, very expensive now
