Bit proud of this one if im honest, biggest and most expensive to date.











not quite finished still though, im waiting for the curved panels to come back from the paint shop. You could not ask for a nicer customer though.

Must confess though, i have no idea how to do the image tags lol

I like it especially the curved panels, how long did the one in the picture take to make?

doors are 770mm on 100mm plinths. Its german stuff, from Hacker. They paid £75k roughly, but used most of their own appliances. There is a mix of miele, neff and gaggenau. Bear in mind there are about 65 units.

Not my sale, i contract for the company and fitted it with another lad. The curved panels were knocked up in a day, we did one each. If anyone else is tempted to try one and get it painted, bear in mind the ribs showed through in the reflections so it needed a second layer attaching with eposy to smooth the shape out. They still arent back from paint! Its a 10 day process.

The granite is another story - ive never seen such an amazing granite company. The joints are biscuited and epoxyed together, final grinding and polishing on site to ensure front and back is perfect. Battaglia in huddersfield.

Timber is from spekva, 60mm thick and supplied to that shape, just minor scribing to get it in.

Will update when i go back to fit the curves. The floor should be done by then too so will look mint.

In fact, they also had an amazing curved staircase fitted in, beautiful. Builders had been on site for a year!

the high unit count comes from the fact that lots of it was modular - in the picture showing the ribs of the curved panel, the group of units behind it is 14 different bits. 2 larders, 2 base drawer unit, 3 units with just a single drawer in each, 4 units above, of which the middle two have a steam oven and coffee machine in, and 3 top boxes above that.

£75k is an awful lot of money that didnt necessarily need spending. However, the granite and wood bits werent cheap, and we did supply 5 of the appliances (there were 13 in total i believe!). Plus the curved panels, custom made and sprayed with paint supplied by manufacturer, will have cost an arm and a leg. The service this company offers is second to none, ive never seen so many happy customers and thankyou letters in the showroom. Their reputation in an affluent area goes a very long way - apparently their biggest was £135k.

Either way, its a lovely company to work for. I love the fact that the customers are always happy, and being a small company its well organised, so you get very few hiccups.
