Fitting kitchen for my son using earthstone worktops.Have previously fitted Maija (spelling?) worktops for my other son,and made a breakfast bar with continuos dropdown side panel ,down to the floor with same material worktop. My other son wants a simlar breakfast bar only 1200 mm wide, with simlar dropdown. This will involve joining two worktops together side by side. Does the panel think the standard method using worktop bolts , biscuits and glue will be sufficient for joining two 600 mm tops together to form 1200mm.Also can you suggest the best method to join the dropdown to the worktop to form a continuos run. As I have said I have done it before , but my method possibly was too elaborate, I routed slots in the worktop edge, and corresponding slots in the dropdown so I could fit bolts and square flat washers to bolt and glue all together. Final job was great after sanding and polishing. This was the first time I have worked with this material , so my blood pressure went through the roof .c##kups would have been very expensive. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks , Ray:
