Why do you need a template? Can you not do it with a router & trammel? What shape are you wanting the end (full 1/2 circle, simple arc, 2x 350 radii to suit curved cabs)?

This is an easy job.....
You can do it with a length of batten bolted to your router base and screwed to the underside of the worktop if you don't want to invest in any extra kit. The further back you set your pivot point the shallower the curve will be. I made a jig out of MDF a few years back with two radii. One was done with an 8ft length of batten, the other with a 4ft length. Cost me about a fiver to do it.

do you have the preformed curves to make the curve?.
if you have the forms then the jig from earthstone is needed i have 2 somewhere, they are only mdf, but it has to be plung cut into to accomodate the radius on the form. where are you ? if in north west you can borrow one.
FESTOOL CHEAPER THAN mafell and Doesn't look like an Aldi special.
