Odd shaped basement kitchen

Have a few bits to finish yet. Not happy with customers oven choice though.

Anyone got any ideas for tiles??

pick up the brown of the draw fronts and run a 2 tile upstand and just do a full splashback behind the cooker, also you could run a travertine border on the upstand and hav it cut through the splashback

thats the misses popping by to see me at work. She's the one who didn't like the 3inch upstands that I'd cut. They didn't quite look right to me, hence thinking of tiling it instead.

Also my sparky keeps putting the sockets too high at first fix, is there a standard?

Yep, too high for me......

200 - 250mm above worktop is plenty...

I normally set the sockets at 1100mm from the floor, which works out at 190-200mm above worktop level.

Now that is a top notch looking kitchen. Agree about the socket hights though
