Hi All,
At 48, I'm an OAP kitchen designer with about 30 in the industry. Worked for many years for the big sheds. Thanks to them and their customers I've lost most of my hair, sanity and two legs (although I can't really blame them for that).
Now working for a small local shop. Its great saying yes to customers instead of years of saying Noooooo, when ever they asked for a simple alteration to a unit or getting a wall removed.
Over the years I've designed kitchens in all sort of properties from windmills to boats, £5million penthouses to 22nd floor council blocks (the last two while working at B&Q Peckham).
It's great to read stories from other people, you always think you get all the awkward jobs and customers!
Cheers,
Mark
