Immaculate kitchen   .... I like the clean sharpe lines despite it being traditional.


I have never offered inframed traditional kitchens so it's completely alien to me, but I'm going to have to pick it up soon as I'm doing one for a good client next summer   ..... not sure where to start !!

I have been looking into it and some of the details which seem quite normal for most traditional kitchens seem really strange to me but completely acceptable to a lot of designers - like combing different handle designs in one kitchen . ...... and having completely different plinth detailing from one side of the kitchen to the other - bizarre !!

Not at all Steve, feedback is more than welcome and I guess that one comes down to personal preference. Daniel - I can relate, we had one client recently with 3 different handles and a face fitting and recessed plinth all in the one kitchen - I felt it was overkill but it was what she wanted -  yet to see it fitted and will pass verdict then! In-frame is soooo different to lay-on doors although everyone tells me lay-on is much more straight forward - I'm actually struggling with it! Bizzare isnt it!?

I get the impression that in-frame may actually be having a bit of a revival though? We are based in South West Scotland, alot of our Clints have large farm houses or estates and are definitely a lot more traditional and safe compared to big cosmo cities like Manchester and London. Although, I am starting to get in enquiries for high gloss/matt kitchens which we are buying in as we cant hand make these. Be interesting to see whats happening in the industry in 20 years time........

That is a very classy looking kitchen. I dream of one day setting something similar up in my home. Mine is just so bland
