I've got a TSC and love it. I also own a 240v version that is collecting dust in the garage as it never gets any use. 

There is very little power difference and the dust collection is ok. No brilliant just ok. It cuts laminate tops perfectly and with the right blade cuts solid wood tops just as well. 

You will need 2 sets of batteries though which can be expensive. I think if you bought one now you would get the airstream batteries that charge quicker but I still think another set would work better. 

All round thumbs up for the TSC from me.

No the one collecting dust isn't for sale as I keep it for backup. Plus ppl on eBay pay such crazy prices for second had Festool i would just eBay it. 

Yes they are good but I've heard the mafell is better (also heard not). They just look like they came from the bargain bin at Aldi. 

Buy one try it and if you don't like it take it back within 15 days and get a full refund.

Thanks for your reply, I'm going to get the festool one in a few weeks. Have used the Magellan and it is very good but expensive and uncertain if it's worth the price difference
