Good evening,
I have been given an opportunity to take on all the kitchen installations for the company I currently fit for. You won't be surprised to hear therefore that my current challenge is to put together a team of 3 or 4 fitters in addition to myself, to satisfy the demand that the designers are in a position to offer. We are based just outside Godalming in Surrey but we cover an area that spreads from Bognor to South London but the majority or our work is in Surrey.
The kitchens we fit are either German (Beeck) or bespoke made by a joinery. We are a team that believes that offering our Clints the best service before, during and after the install is as important as aspiring to install perfect kitchens, and therefore need fitters that are comfortable and confident talking to the Clints, and therefore representing the company. It might seem strange mentioning this but I have worked with fitters who openly admit to not liking people! Having the right attitude is as important as having the right ability as far as I am concerned.
As a fitter myself I am conscious of the responsibility we take on when installing expensive kitchens, and also the delays, inconvenience and frustration that can occur when Clints are delivered damaged, late or not at all. I believe that I am in a position to offer a favourable day rate to the right person/people and hope that what I have written strikes a chord with some of you.
We are a small (currently!), friendly and ambitious team and all we need now is to find like-minded people to join us in expanding a well established business to a position where we can fulfil the opportunities in front of us and maximise the business's and our own potential.
If any of what I have written above appeals to you or you have any questions please send me a message and we can arrange to meet and chat this through.
Cheers,
Tristan
