Well I'm all up for celebrating JRB's 40th but I'll be in Wales on that date as will CL....yes we do actually go on holiday together but we prefer to call it our annual works shutdown!

If you read the KFF small print carefully it does state (somewhere) that no socials are to take place without your leader and mentor present.


I think a social is well overdue although I do appreciate that this time of year is difficult with other holidays already booked.

Well it turns out that no-one can do that weekend; myself included! Just found out my family are planning a party anyway (was going to be a surprise party - the biggest surprise being that I would have arranged something else anyway so wouldn't have turned up!).

I thought Cliff was being a bit optimistic with a weekend barge trip, but it seems a couple of people would be up for something like that, so maybe we could arrange a trip for later in the year? If not that, then we are due some kind of social soon anyway. It won't be for my 40th, but I'll let you all (belatedly) buy me alcohol anyway!!!
