I've been in the kitchen design/manufacturing/installation business for around 8 years now, and as some of you know I've been self employed as a kitchen fitter for the last 2 years.
Recently I was lucky enough to be approached by a German manufacturer of laminate and solid surface worktops, Westag & Getalit AG (Laminates/Elements Division).
So as of last week, I am Westag's 'Technical Representative for UK & Ireland'.
This means that I will be travelling the UK & Ireland, demonstrating the installation & finishing techniques for Westag's solid surface offering, GetaCore, to fitters and other end users of the product, as well as being the point of contact for any technical queries or issues with both 'GetaCore' and the 'GetaLit' range of laminate products.
GetaCore worktops are now being offered by Howdens, and there will very shortly be a series of training sessions at Howden's branches for fitters (such as your good selves!) to come & not only see a demonstration, but also to get hands-on & use the products yourselves.
Hopefully, I will see some of you there!
