Snow Tyres or Snow chains?

i was not really leagal on my two fronts :( ...so went winter tyres early ..think it was 20th this time last year when it all kicked off ?

last year i left the van in the village and made a sledge for the tools was fun going down hill but getting them up was a mare!

i wrapped nylon rope through the spokes the just cut it off before i got to clear road a few times aswel but this year if it snowing i aint going no where till i dont need to mess it other people getting stuck that causes the probs

and i live at the foot of snowdon

..ok ..just that i ve spend many weekends in the pub there , normally take the van and camp in the field accross the road ...makes me giggle when you spot people coming back (usually up from london ) fom the pub to find the tent wrapped around a barbedwire fence ...gets a bit breezey ?

4 welsh 1000's? /first weekend of june usually,but getting too bloody old for that, did Tryfan in march at night , do like walking in the hills .has the Vaynol arms changed hands ? the food used to be bloody fantastic and seems to have dropped off a bit in the last year or two ?

not sure we dont go there,we go to the heights as it just down the road

one at a time!to much rushing getting them done together lol do more climbing now then walking it will come back around though

I bought snow socks for my van last year (think brand is autosock) def worth the money and very quick and easy to use.
