that looks great. what are the worktops? i haven't done any of this style yet but see them more and more in brochures. did you do them yourself or get some one in ?

cant remember the names of the quartz, i didnt do this stone work its a bit to heavy for me in both ways, i had to make a 3/4 ply under frame for the island, with a vertical fixed to the floor. then it got tiled, then quartz down to the tiles. they took the top of the ply frame off and slid the vertical sleeve over the ply fixed to the floor then top ply on and top quartz on. if you get my description. should have took a pic then.

That TV is itching to be hung on the wall out of interest what have they done for heating/ cooling the room.

heating is underfloor electric, i have put feeds under each plinth for heaters if it is too cold in the winter. cooling, i have told them to get good roof blinds, they dont think it will be a problem, i think it will be unbearable if we ever get a decent summer.
