Good job Chip and well done for cutting the extractor trunking into the pitched roof!
I might take that photo and blow it up in Photoshop to see how good it really is though!

Stretch Wrote:Good job Chip and well done for cutting the extractor trunking into the pitched roof! it is roughly cut then slotted up into the ceiling by about 10mmand fixed it to battens above the ceiling so the bottem section is the only removeable section

i would so have cut that flush with the flyover! :D A lot of effort in that there!

That's interesting joelp 'cos I agree with you.
I always try and make the customer go for a flyover with the chimney cut flush. They can't get their head around it while I describe it, but love it when it's done. I often wonder if some would prefer the "up to the ceiling" look though? What do the others think? By the way chip, nice one.

i always talk Clints into a "flyover" but i also take chimney up to ceiling, put flover in as it gives a natural stop for the tiling! 8)

Sometimes we beat ourselves up about things like that but you've got to be realistic and say that there really is nothing you can do to make it better.
You can't alter the design. You can't alter what you've been given. |
