ok... there is an ongoing pain with this job i done.
i wont get paid until the customer is happy with the insurance work.
first she said the floor is too dark????????? how much lighter could i have done it
so a friend who sorted the job had to go back and sort it out, it turned out it was too light but she got confused.
he completely sanded the floor back to wood, stained it to the original shade and it came out exactly like the original (still have some remains)
now she says its too dark?????
then she asked him "why is the end panel not level" he got his level from the van and it was cock on. he explained that it was her washing machine that was crooked
now for the funny bit.
customer - "was it you that scratched my concrete path?"
mate - "yes i slipped with my stanley knife while cutting something"
customer - "well you better get it repaired"
mate - leaves without a word
some people eh!, its all free from her insurance and to be honest i couldnt see anything wrong with the floor we ripped out
