Had the Rep in the showroom a couple of days ago. She has said that after battling with technical and the Italians they have agreed that the Hob requirements are no different to the likes of Bosch.

We should see (hopefully) soon the instruction booklets for all Indesit/Hotpoint Hobs updated with clearer dimensions etc. I am the first to bring this up...... The rep mentioned that this shows that people do not read the instructions.

The only time I get the booklet out is to check out the cut out size for the hob. Years of experience has taught me when and where I can/can't install a hob or any other appliance/accessory for that matter.

The designs look great. I much prefer the handless draws but not to say that the first one isnt great either. It does seem there are more draws than needed but I guess having more can be good? Or less is more? :P
