Obvious when you think about it isnt it. Ive been doing them the same way as you so far. I also fit a lot of thes handless kitchens at the moment.

Some ranges do an internal and external corner fillet. Fitting a handless white gloss as I type but sadly got to make up the corner filler for the one, going to attempt to mitre it so the j goes all the way to the back... Lets hope the ts50 doesn't slip!
I,ve got one to fit in my showroom in the next couple of weeks with a similar corner post. Planning on giving it a try then. I'm sure it will look a lot better than butting up
