I assume the Clints are well happy with it. As Daniel said, a lot of fitters would have walked away from it as it was always going to be a challenge with those reduced depths.

The worktops look good too.....

Just looked at this and initially thought, putting the strip on the pelmet will make a shadow line. First comment was me previously with the same comment

Which unit would you have hung the other way Steve? The angled base unit door...? If so, what hinges would you have used...?

Very nice jrb, i like the worktops. I also like the way the end wall panels are long enough to overhang the cabinets top and bottom, but how did you fix the cornice with the units up to the ceiling. Must have been a flat ceiling as well or is there some decorators cauk along the ceiling/cupboard line. Where did you put the switch for the under cupboard lights, did you need a sparky on the job.

It's a while since I did this, and I honestly can't remember. I must've screwed up into the cornice from inside the units.

There might be some caulk in there....

Where did you put the switch for the under cupboard lights, did you need a sparky on the job.

The u/c lights are switched from the switched fused spur to the left of the hob (above the breadbin, in pic 7).
