Did you have to cut the up-stand down for the window cill?   I use Duropal all the time, but the up-stands i have an issue with,  they are never straight.  Stand it on a long flat surface there will be 20mm gap either end.  The last one i did was so bad i couldn't get it right,  i had to cut the curve out with the rail saw.  

Them Germans know how to make average products you know..

And they bombed our Chippy...
