When I say "wood",....there is a reason for my madness! I'll post pictures up of the job when I get it fitted but I only started it yesterday and it's a fairly big kitchen & utility room so will take a couple of weeks..... 

I normally avoid wooden worktops like the plague but this is going to be a type of small breakfast bar area as opposed to a worktop as such.
