Granite Sink Cut Wrong?

Having said that, a lot of the modern adhesives that are used nowadays are brilliant. As long as the surfaces to be bonded are prepared in the right way and the correct adhesive used for the appropriate application. The example that springs to my mind is when the Hob retaining clips/strips need to be fixed to the Hob cut out sides. I use a tube of adhesive recommend by my stone company and it is fantastic stuff......you have to leave the adhesive to set over night before fitting the Hob, but once set, the clips are virtually impossible to remove.

... yes my fabricator insists the adhesives need 12hrs to set properly, so sinks cannot be connected until the following day.

Their two stone fitters also swear by the adhesives so I have let it rest.
