I'm with Prem in that we do a lot of kitchens that are run of the mill and while it's worth taking a few pics for posterity, most of them are there to fill the diary and pay the bills.
Every now and again we get one that is really different or special and then I will get the DSLR out but only when it's completely finished, dressed and decorated. Unfortunately we don't offer decoration as a service so that's rare but if I do the the standard 18-55 lens is enough for me.
I'll be honest, I've had my Canon EOS30D for a number of years now and I would think that the megapixel capability on my iPhone 7 probably beats it hands down!!
