Good first attempt. Looks tidy and all the doors/fascias seem to be aligned well.
If the Manufacturers Instructions allow sufficient clearance you can run upstands behind a gas hob (you can sometimes get away with 30mm). This is usually achieved by using oversized tops and bring the units forward to suit.
Interesting detail on the worktop edge - don't see that very often. Usually just a round over or slight chamfer.
Agree with the tower end panel. Cut rebate for plinth every time and agree with clearances above upstands for sockets. I've seen upstands cut out to accept sockets which is just wrong on every level.
