Welcome to the site  . Not long been here myself, but they seem a friendly bunch.

Hopefully more manufacturers will jump on board on forums such as this one - its always nice to have a contact in what sometimes seems to be a jungle of departments all blaming someone else!

Also seen that the articad doors package is the same as the manufacturer i use, incomplete and frustrating to work with! Glad i'm not the only one.

I'm an ECF customer, and have been very happy with pretty much everything until recently. In the last couple of months I've had 2 pretty major issues - one regarding the Hoxton/Arlington range (I say one, it was really several issues, see this post).

don't know why you can't see it, but here it is:

I'm fitting a Hoxton job at the moment, and it's likely to be the last one I do. The doors are good, but the accessories are crap.


The end panels used to be veneered MDF, but have recently changed to plain MDF with some kind of cartoon-like fake texture pressed into it, they look shite. And to make things worse, it's only pressed into one side, the other side is plain - which fook me up on this job as I've got to use some end panels to make up 2x open shelf units.

Also, the cornice has almost no flat area at the bottom through which to screw it down.

Add to that the fact that this job is in two colours, and both lots of accessories have been wrapped too soon after spraying, so they have areas where the paint finish is damaged. Luckily I ordered a litre of each paint colour, so at least I can touch in the paintwork afterwards, but it's a job I shouldn't have to do.

Thanks, whilst i cant right the wrongs could you find a private way of letting me know any job references etc and I will look into it.
