Tall units looking good, I think I would have taken the filler down to the floor to save scribing the plinth to the skirting, and I would have probably have made the filler just the 19mm end panel and increased the size of the corner post to make up the difference. That's just me though, it's looking good mate!
I think I would have waited for the sink cab and sink to be in before plumbing in the tap though!
Any more progress or is this a weekend only job?
Thanks! It's a weekend only job as we're all working full time in the week.
The plumbing isn't in, thats from the old setup. We've got to strip it right back and move it slightly to allow for the dishwasher and Insinkerator. That's next weekends job - need to try and fit a think soil pipe adapter with an offset on it, otherwise the dishwasher won't fit!
We did discuss taking the filler down to the floor, however the filler is in line with the cabinets, so it'll be set back from the door and the plinth obviously sits further back. Off the top of my head, i think the filler is maybe 2-2.5" and I wanted to make sure there was enough room for the fridge door to open without bashing into the wall.
I'll take a look at Minerva, however does that have a mdf core to it? Would really like an undermounted sink, however we're also happy with a slimtop if our budget doesn't stretch.
The good thing about doing this weekends only is that we can keep topping our savings up
