Possible delay now thanks to the council.
They've stated that as we've constructed a utility room within the kitchen, it needs to have extraction facilities. Could provide us with a bit of an issue, as if we have to put one in, it's going to delay everything.
However, the building regulation definition of a utility is
We're not having a sink in the room, and the only 2 appliances in there are going to be the washer and the dryer. I've never seen a washer produce water vapour, and the dryer will be a condensing dryer.
Having a bit of an argument with them now, should be interesting. Hopefully I can get around this, maybe I can try and change the application by calling it a store room
Anyone know if by plumbing in a new radiator, getting the boiler relocated and putting in a cold water supply also needs declaring to the council?
