Are you trying to match an existing top that is fitted?

No it will all be new but I really want the worktop and splashback to match exactly.

Do they have to match and why 2m?

Yes I really want them to match as I don't like different (have looked at this option but was not happy with the effect) 2m is the height behind my range cooker up to the top of the units that I will be having fitted. I did the same thing in a house years ago and it looked amazing. Sadly the company I used them have ceased trading.
