As for the encore tops, i'm just not sure i've got the patience any more. I think i'd much rather learn how to fabiricate corian then mess around with some of these other systems. Looks like a hell of work has gone in to them, I know corian does too, but think I would enjoy tat a bit more. Good luck to those of you going.
One thing Sneezer, It all seems you don't have much trouble up selling appliances, mmost of your kitchen seem to have £6k plus off applainces
Nice one
The wall tiles were porcelain and a bugger to work with, I shudder to think what they would have been like had they been mosaic's
The client chose the tiles and I thought they were a mistake when I first saw them, but now they are on the wall I think they add texture to the look of the finished kitchen.
Any type of Solid Surface top is always a fair amount of work, some more than others. I have done quite a few sets of Encore tops now and each one becomes a little less work as you know what to expect.
I am looking forward to the Corian Course in January as I'm sure there will be lots of tips and info that will help with the process. With Corian, there is a lot more fabrication than with Encore type materials but I'm still looking forward to the challenge of it.
The majority of the appliances that we sell are Siemens and Designer Paddy knows the product inside out. Yes, they are not the cheapest brand out there but I think you do get what you pay for with them. I have a direct account which means we do our best to be competitive against the likes of t'internet, and also do our best to sell it as the complete package (as was discussed recently on another thread).
Snezza.
