I see. But, with it being mid-height, I think it would have looked better without the recess between the two, and a recess at the top of the door instead.
I tend to agree with you JRB, and I have always felt that the vertical handle never looks as good as the horizontal one does......BUT, that is the way that the handle is done on Tall and Midi height units that utilize the "Linear" handle.
The vertical handle also introduces another problem into the equation, as you have to add 36/37mm to the width of each cabinet for every vertical single/double handle.
Personally, I love the look and style of the "Linear" range, I already have one on display in the showroom in Graphite Grey and White and I am putting another one in as an Island configuration in a Natural Concrete finish.
