Sorry mate, only just see this.
To add fuel to the fire, my plan is to actually design, make and install kitchens, I talked a bit about it in this thread.
Ultimately it may just be that I pay someone else to install them, but none the less I want to know how its done, so I can design and make better kitchens.
Why joinery/kitchens? I love making things, I love solving problems, I love seeing how things are made, even to the point that I get excited building ikea furniture, I love wood, I love tools, I want to do a job that makes me happy and gives me a sense of achievement.
Plus my wife wants a new kitchen
