Maybe my photographic skills are somewhat lacking, but in reality it looks the same as that!

The only difference that I can see is that my granite guy stopped the bevel at each end of the run as he and I agreed that it looks pants with such a sharp angle sitting on top of a flat panel, as well as being a real dirt trap.

You can see the stopped bevel edge/ end in this photo
