Yes, a gas hob is a real no no with Lustrolite, as you say for obvious reasons.
Induction hobs don't produce any heat so as long as the Lustrolite panels are far enough away, there is no issue.

I.ve got another fit to do in 2 weeks and that one has Mocca Lustrolite panels. Again, with an Induction hob.
