Thanks guys.
Yeah we wanted handle less all over but as you say, space is a constraint. The customer was happy to have handles on the larder units, they match the appliance handles quite well. It was a shame that the fridge drawers couldn't be integrated into the handle less system though. Ideally we would have liked the room to be 300mm wider so we could have fit another larder to the left of the microwave tower. We did toy with putting in two 150mm towers, but that would have been a stupid waste of storage purely for the sake of symmetry.
You'll notice as well that the trim around the top of the towers and down the sides of the tambours is a different colour. It's in black oak. I wasn't too sure about that at first as it was the customers idea. But it looked really nice once fitted, and tied in nicely with the flooring.
I lucked out with the d/washer as well. I checked the height in the design stage to ensure that it would work with the handle less profile and it would. On the last day when I slid it in, it had about 0.2mm of space between it and the metal profile! Very lucky laying out - the floor is a bit out of wack. Would have been a massive night mare if it didn't fit in!
Yes the sink has two glass covers, which slide out across the worktop. Looks very nice and matches the hob & extractor. Every time my helper made a cup of tea I was waiting for him to open the tap directly onto the glass
Glad you noticed the radio, cleared the whole room out and missed that!
