Lol, no....it was all about no matter how good a kitchen looks when posted up here there will inevitably be a "but" comment. And mine was the fact that there was a site radio included in what would have otherwise been brochure quality pics.
I (we) always have a radio on at work but it's background stuff. It's never so loud that we can't hear ourselves think and it's always Radio 2. Well always play along with Popmaster and take the piss out of the callers on the Jeremy Vine show etc but your story reminds me of an incident last year.
We got to the job just after the plasterer to find he had already turned on his bashed up multifinish splattered 80's beat box to Radio 1. Despite the fact he was trying to get rid of a banging hangover he still insisted on playing shitty house dance music at full volume. We waited until he pissed off to get some more bags of plaster then binned his radio to the corner and put ours on Radio 2.....just in time for Popmaster
