Lol, good thread title.
Now that myself and CL have joined forces we're both wondering why we didn't do it years ago. Life has become so much easier for both of us and it means that we are averaging a full refurb a week. Strip out, plumb and elec, fit kitchen and tile floor and wall. Bosh. And sometimes we get a couple of days off at the end of the week on simpler jobs.
Two experienced fitters work well alongside each other as there's never an excuse for either to be stood around doing nothing.
I think it's important not to strike up any sort of business partnership though...we individually get our own jobs and work for each other on those jobs but split any profits 50/50.
The fact that we live about 25 miles apart isn't an issue as it has effectively expanded our catchment area.
In fact I'm having a nice day off today due to a fook up with worktop deliveries and although I could have probably found something else to do today I decided I couldn't be arsed and had a lie in until 9am instead
Happy days!
