I've also purchased these clips from one the forum sponsors, LDL.

I also encountered the same issue with the J handle, and unable to lower the internal drawer to suit. One option I considered, but never actually tried was LDLs extra-strong magnet http://www.ldlonline.co.uk/Product/0/1062 which could be located lower where there is full depth in the drawer front. It's stated this has 6.7kg pull; presumably enough to hold a cutlery drawer.

I will take a look at that magnet, coz after I posted the pics and this "Clip" was mentioned, I had a quick measure up of the drawer pack the next day in the showroom. Unfortunately, I have'nt got the height between the bottom of the top drawer and the top of the second drawer down to allow me to drop the top drawer (if that makes sense!)
The magnet sounds like a good idea.
