...this one today.
We fitted this one about a month or so ago and were just waiting for a couple of tall larder fascias which were on back order.
They'd decorated and had the Amtico done in the meantime so seemed like a good excuse to get some pics.
Kitchen was about 30 years old.
New kitchen is Crown Imperial Zeluso Oyster Matt with Duropal Orion Beige worktops. All appliances are Neff and sourced by the customer - well in advance!! They were all there when we started. Required a fair amount of plastering and getting walls level where the original extension was done.
It was actually for family although they were my wife's aunt and uncle and not a blood relation. We stayed in the house (with them) for the duration and were fed every night and kept supplied with tea, biscuits and lunch throughout!! Happy days....
Some befores:
The RSJ (at the top of this pic) that was originally put in for the extension had been meshed, hardwalled, and sort of textured and painted to look like a wooden beam. It was truly awful but we managed to bead it up and plaster over it later on during the prep work.
Little bit more painting to do after we fitted the two larder doors on the boiler alcove shown in the first pic but all done and dusted now. Could probably do with the main kitchen door replacing though!!
Quite a daring colour scheme but I think it really brings out the colour in the fascias and it seems to work.
All Crown users, in case you didn't know, the white Intivo drawer boxes cost no more than the standard tandemboxes and make for a really nice upgrade:
Old kitchen window removed and French doors put in (not by us)
