So which one? the standard or the XL. Claydons pic shows a packer on the back as he wanted the XL but them units look a standard gap to me.

Just the angle of the photo as he had to use an early prototype and a packer - the xl would be perfect on these now they're in production.

Get the trade sized packs out! My first thought when I saw them is that a 10pack is really a trial size I expected to see a 100pack or at least a 50 pack. If its to do with packaging then don't bother as I'm sure many wouldn't care if they came in a clear plastic bag. I can see you might want fancy packaging for POS on the smaller packs.

60p each is quite a lot I think, really I'd want to be paying at least half that for what is essentially a sundrie that is likely to be purchased just to make your life easier rather than a re-chargeable product, I know you kindly said forum members would get double so that does work out the same but if I wasn't a member I think I wouldn't be that tempted to pick them up unless I knew that I had a problem wall which required a lot of packing out in which case I might take a punt on just using a few as opposed to fixing all the units with them.

Thanks so much guys, this is what I'd really like feedback on. What you've said is absolutely noted - just bear with me as we've only really existed a week or so - and that's why I was doing the "doubling thing". I want to get rid of the postage too but that's at cost at the moment. It's hard to begin with before you start doing any volume. It is a bit of a packaging problem too but, I can work something - my original offer stands, but beyond three packs and what about buy 4 and I'll work out a bag with a couple of drill bits and 100 space-plugs and 100 screws? How does that sound?

I kinda think an option of say 100, 200 & 500 pack sizes may be best for guys like myself. On an average kitchen I could easily use around 20 plugs so It could become quite a costly alternative.

If there was a trade pack size it could be a better option.

I think they're a great company to deal with as they make my made to measure stuff without any problems. Used them for a very long time now so I can recommend them.

Do you find it easier to use a seperate supplier for the doors and carcasses?

I'm looking for a new supplier as company I have recently left to set up on my own have done nothing but muck up every order I've made.

Was even contemplating using Howdens .... Thats how bad its got!

Yes. I use different suppliers. Lamtek do my carcasses and then i use all the different door suppliers. I just find it easier this way and the profit a little higher.
