Van Racking

i want to see more pictures of racking to see what people do n their vans

i have tried but every time i chose a file then add, it goes to load then nothing. the file is gone and getting hacked off with it.

now if that was me i would have taken advantage off the locking off the extension arms and have one bracket at the bulkhead and another this end to make the space more useable

You've lost me as to what you mean????

a bit off wood shaped to accept the extension arm/securing knob at the bulkhead a bracket at the rear that the extension arm just misses as you raise it into position then extend and lock onto the rear bracket

and yes i know how heavy it is as mines lives up here

Not wishing to pass comment on any of these installs, but I've just found quite an interesting article. It's a few years old, but the pictures are quite surprising:

It's something I've been aware of in the past when loading a car boot, but TBH for some reason it never occurred to me in relation to van racking.

i have seen the article before, I have also talk to other about who all agree that there seems to nothing holdng the racking in place especially the top so it has done exactly what i would expect.

The test are also done by a racking company so some what bias

nope, it says corporate. Its not my van, it is the 1 that a company has given me that i sub to and i use it on my own jobs
