Smallest kitchen EVER!

I'm doing a 1 bed flat re-furb at the moment and this is the kitchen i'm installing, tried to talk the customer into moving the very large lounge (8.5m x 6m) considering the rest of the flat, so I could redesign the rest of the tiny flat, moving the kitchen meant I could have made the single bedroom into a double and enlarged the bathroom meaning it could take a full size basin rather than a cloakroom one, nearly won the battle but lost at the eleventh hour.
   


The kitchen is tiny 2.15m x 1.6m, in it the new owner of the flat had a cooker, hob, hood & slimline fridge (washing machine in bedroom)
   
   

The customer insisted on all mod cons, so it I have now managed to squeeze in Oven, Hood, Hob, B/I Washing machine, Dishwasher, B/I Fridge, B/I Combi Microwave and even a small caravan freezer! all this even though within the space the services for the whole building run through and strangely next doors soil pipe runs through it too (see pictures of modified tower unit)

OK so not the most pleasing to the eye but I believe an estate agent would describe it as "small but perfectly formed"

oh I kinda cheated on the oven and dishwasher... it's in the same appliance, I remember seeing it for the first time a few years back in theobalds catalogue and thought who the hell would have a use for that! it seems I now have :lol:

None of it is ideal... The light issue with the tower unit although it's not that bad when you’re in the room, there are no drawers, the sink will be tucked away under the window, the corner unit has limited access as it's a 1000 cut down then a 300 door fitted, the hood is a telescopic one so the workings will take up a lot of the bridging unit, there are other details that I know you lot will notice like the wall units not being at the same height as the tower unit but there is a reason for that.

But when I did 6 different designs all with at least one of the above appliances missing the customer started asking questions like, "what if I do without an oven and just use a combo microwave?" and "what if I do without a hob?". She would rather have the utility appliances than the cooking! So I had to come up with a design that got it all in to stop her making a terrible mistake. And whilst as I say it's not ideal I’m amazed I managed to get it all in, it's also a design that can be changed without too much cost should she decide to sell and somebody else whould rather have less appliances and more storage

In just about the smallest flat ever.
There was hardly any space to stand up in as the ceiling sloped down on all sides. I was standing as far away as I could get and I've got a wide angle camera.
There was a cupboard acting as bedroom with no windows and no full height; apart from that what you see was the whole flat.
I'd rather live on the streets.
